REVENUE SHARING POLICY
Player & Organization Revenue Distribution Agreement — Version 1.0, 2026
Preamble
This Revenue Share Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Error 404 Velocity Gaming ("the Organization") and each signed player ("the Player"), collectively "the Parties." It governs the allocation, distribution, and management of all revenue streams generated in connection with a Player's participation in and representation of the Organization, and forms part of, and should be read in conjunction with, the Player's signed Esports Player Agreement. Individual player terms — including exact percentages — are agreed and initialled in writing as part of that Agreement; the defaults below are indicative starting points, not fixed rates.
Section 1: Tournament & Prize Revenue
Tournament prize winnings earned by the Organization's team are split between Player and Organization by prize bracket:
| Prize Bracket | Player (suggested) | Organization (suggested) |
|---|---|---|
| Up to BWP 5,000 | 70% | 30% |
| BWP 5,001 – 20,000 | 65% | 35% |
| BWP 20,001 – 50,000 | 60% | 40% |
| Above BWP 50,000 | Negotiated in writing | |
A Player is eligible for a prize share only if they actively participated in the matches resulting in the prize; benched or late-substituted players may receive a reduced or zero share as agreed in writing at the time of the event. Distributions are made within thirty (30) calendar days of the Organization receiving the prize funds, with written confirmation of the gross prize and each Player's net share. Each Player is individually responsible for any tax liabilities arising from prize income.
Section 2: Sponsorship Revenue
Revenue from sponsors contracted at the organizational level belongs entirely to the Organization; no individual Player is entitled to a share unless expressly stated in writing. Where a sponsor is engaged at division level and tied to that division's performance or branding, the Organization may at its discretion distribute a portion to players of that division. Players may enter personal sponsorship arrangements, retained entirely by the Player, subject to prior written notice to the Organization, no conflict with existing organizational sponsors, and written approval within seven (7) days (not unreasonably withheld). Player-specific sponsors may not use the Organization's branding without express written consent.
Section 3: Content & Streaming Revenue
Revenue from a Player's personal streaming and content activities (Twitch subs, YouTube AdSense, TikTok creator funds, tips/donations) is the sole property of the Player. Where a Player participates in Organization-branded content at the Organization's direction, net revenue (after platform fees) is split by default 50/50 between Player and Organization, confirmed in writing before production. Where the Organization sells merchandise bearing a Player's in-game name or likeness, the Player receives an agreed percentage of net revenue attributable to it, and likeness use requires the Player's prior written consent.
Section 4: Payment Procedures
Payments are made via the method agreed in writing (e.g. bank transfer, mobile money). The Organization maintains accurate revenue and payment records, and will provide a written statement within fourteen (14) days of a Player's request. Payment disputes must be raised in writing within thirty (30) days of receipt; both Parties engage in good-faith negotiation before escalating to the dispute process. The Organization may withhold a Player's share for up to sixty (60) days where the Player is in material breach of their Player Agreement, pending resolution.
Section 5: Revenue Audit Rights
A Player may request an independent review of revenue calculations where there is a genuine dispute about accuracy. The requesting party bears the cost unless the review reveals a material error exceeding 10%, in which case the Organization bears the cost.
Section 6: Term & Termination
This Agreement runs concurrently with the Player's active Player Agreement and terminates alongside it, except that revenue earned but not yet distributed is paid out within thirty (30) days of termination, disputes may be raised within sixty (60) days of termination, and revenue from content, merchandise, or events the Player participated in while active is distributed regardless of subsequent departure.
Section 7: Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
Section 8: Entire Agreement & Amendments
This Agreement, together with a Player's signed Player Agreement and any attached Schedules, constitutes the full agreement regarding revenue distribution. No amendment is valid unless made in writing and signed by both Parties. Oral representations and informal assurances regarding revenue are not binding.
Individual percentages, signatures, and Schedule A are completed and executed as part of a Player's onboarding — see Recruitment to begin that process.
